Longing for ' Real'

Oh how I long to see what is real. . .
To know for the first time
What it's like just to feel.

Wish to know the mirror's reflection. . .
To see the true me
Instead of simply deception.

I long for now to know what is true. . .
To identify for once . . .
The lies I can't see through.

Oh how I yearn for stronger desire. . .
To fight for the good
Instead of the fire.

Oh how I want to only be free. . .
To walk unchained
From the curse attached to me.

I long to see what is real. . .
