Unexpectedly Gone

Life is too short, there's never enough time.
You think they are still going to be here,
But you turn around and you're at their shrine.

You love them so much and hold them so dear,
You think there's time to tell them how you feel.
You still have memories of the good times,
But looking back you can't believe it's real.

Then the silver bells at the church chime,
We go through life busy with work and play,
And don't want to think it could ever end.

But unexpectedly it comes one day,
And it may take time for loved ones to mend.
So say what you want to the ones you love,
So you don't regret when they're up above.

Dedicated to my coach, Mr. Setla,  by Jessica
